Baby Nursery!

The baby room is done!  Ready for Baby Williams to arrive!

I love the way it turned out.  The lagoon blue paint doesn't show in a photograph as beautiful as it is.

2010 - Cabo and Costa Rica

April 2010 was my first real Spring Break.  

I went to Cabo with Stacia, Taylor, Elise and Mic. 

I wish I was there right now!

In May, Garett and I traveled to Costa Rica with Kirk and Doreen

where we did a lot in 10 days...

we stayed at the beach

we stayed under a volcano

we hiked through the cloud forests

we went in search of tarantulas in the jungle at night

we ran the Pecuare River

We had an amazing vacation ...

and are looking forward to getting back to Costa Rica someday soon.

Kids travel, right?!!?

2009 - Key West

In April of 2009, we headed to a destination that Garett had on his list for quite awhile: Key West.

I really was skeptical at first, thinking it would be ALL Jimmy Buffet ALL the time.

We rented a house with our friends, Christy and James. 

It was an awesome place and we all plan to go back and rent it again.

There's even a third bedroom for the kiddos.

We had a fantastic time the whole time.  The sunsets were beautiful.

We visited the Fort Taylor, built to protect Florida from the Caribbean pirates in the nineteenth century, but later used as a prison for

yup - this is the influence of my husband.

2008 - Barbados

In 2008, we met our friends Nick and Brooke in Barbados

planned it perfectly to arrive at the same time -

they flew from CT and we came in from UT. 

We were thrilled to be there the moment we arrived and saw this:

The resort and the island were beautiful. 

We did some exploring and we also spent quite a bit of time at the swim up bar...

The quest of the journey was to swim with the turtles. 

The water was perfect.

The sunsets were spectacular too.

About this time of year, I always crave the warmth and nourishment of the sunshine. 

Here's hoping spring will warm up around here soon!
