2012 already!

Ok, I've been meaning to add photos from the holidays and all the winter excitement around here - but I have to admit, I was holding out for some photos from a holiday party we went to where Lauren got to sit on Santa's lap. I don't have them yet, but it's 2012 already, and this blog needs an update!

6 months!

In case Lauren hadn't had enough,

I took more pictures when we got home.

6 months and cuter everyday.

Garett pointed out that Lauren's tongue seems to be functioning as a barameter of sorts.

When it's out, she's a happy baby.

we did it. we went to a professional photographer.

we got up really early. made it a team effort.

I brought so much stuff Garett thought we were maybe spending the night there.

from Lauren the ladybug!

Can a mom brag enough about her amazing, sweet baby?!?

We started out our morning going to Garett's office for a little

trick-or-treating and flu shot for me.

She was the most happy, lovable ladybug the whole time.

Then, after a short nap on the way home, we went to ASEA for a potluck at my work.

Again, the most happy, smily ladybug ever.

And now she's taking a well-deserved nap!

She's just the best. I love my little ladybug.

5 months!

5 months today! and a beautiful (although chilly!) fall day in the SLC~

I found her some 3-mo size jeans and they will get worn!

Lauren weighed in over 12 pounds today!

Any day now she'll be done with the size 1 diapers.

Sarasota, Florida

This past week we took Lauren on her first plane trip - the mission:

sun, beach and relaxation in Sarasota, Florida

First stop: the pool!

Second stop: the beach!  

Aunt Michaeleen and Cousin Ava

Third stop: St. Armand's Circle

we visited the Sarasota Jungle Gardens for the first time.

  

Cousins Ava and Lauren really adore each other.
